Daddy'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 1/4 c. dark Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Boil syrup and sugar together for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Beat eggs and pour slowly into syrup.
    Add butter, salt and vanilla, stirring to blend.
    Add pecan pieces.
    Pour into raw pie shell. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes (until set).
