Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck tomatoes
    12 onions
    6 green peppers
    1 pt. brown sugar (2 c.)
    1 pt. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. allspice
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 Tbsp. cloves
Preparation
    Scald and peel tomatoes.
    Grind onions and peppers.
    Place in a large kettle (stainless steel).
    Add tomatoes and cook down until sauce thickens and shrinks.
    This could take 2 days.
