Apple Rice Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, divided
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    6 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine apples, rice, lemon juice, 1/4 cup brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in large bowl.
    Spoon into 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Mix flour and remaining brown sugar, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
    Stir in nuts and sprinkle over apple/rice mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm, plain or topped with ice cream.
