Corn Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. corn meal
    1/4 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    4 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Sift corn meal, flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together. Beat egg.
    Add milk and butter.
    Add to sifted dry ingredients, stirring just enough to dampen all the dry ingredients.
    Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 muffins.
