Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    vanilla wafers
    bananas
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and salt and then add milk and put on double boiler.
    When hot, add 1/2 cup of milk and then add beaten egg yolks.
    Stir with wire whisk occasionally over heat for 15 minutes until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Layer vanilla wafers, bananas and custard 2 times.
    Top with meringue or Cool Whip.
