"Glorified" Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    6 pork chops
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    In skillet over medium heat, in hot oil brown chops, doing half at a time with onion, about 10 minutes.
    Drain fat off.
    Stir in soup and water.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, until chops are fork-tender, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
