Beef And Cabbage Meal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. hot water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Remove outer leaves of cabbage, cut cabbage into 6 wedges. Place in baking dish.
    Sprinkle onion and rice between wedges. Crumble ground beef between wedges.
    Combine tomatoes, water, salt and pepper in bowl.
    Mix well.
    Pour over casserole.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Yields 6 servings.
