Raisin Honey Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. honey or molasses
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream together the shortening and sugar.
    Add honey and eggs; beat until well blended.
    Combine flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and salt.
    Stir into honey mixture; mix well. Fold in raisins and nuts.
    Form into 1-inch balls.
    Place on greased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
    Flatten slightly. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
