French Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water
    4 oz. powdered milk or 1 qt. milk
    1 oz. sugar
    1 oz. salt
    1 oz. oil
    1 oz. yeast
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Knead the dough.
    Allow to rise.
    Knead again and make into loaves.
    Make a slit into the center of each loaf, lengthwise.
    Brush the loaves with melted butter.
    Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
