Owens' Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. milk or half and half
    1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
    1 c. crunchy peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boi sugar and milk to soft ball stage (240\u00b0 on candy thermometer).
    In mixing bowl, mix Marshmallow Creme, peanut butter and vanilla.
    Pour over this the boiled mixture and mix well.
    Spread in buttered cake pan.
    You can melt 5 or 6 Hershey bars and spread on top.
    This will be like Reese's peanut butter cups.
    Very good.
