Cajun Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. wine (any flavor, any brand)
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped yellow onions
any flavor smoked meat (turkey, ham hocks or sausage)
salt, red/black pepper to taste
1 lb. red kidney beans
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped red onions
cooked rice for 4 to 6 people
Preparation

In a large bowl, place wine, meat, green peppers, celery, onion and beans.
Soak these overnight.
The following day, empty this into a large cooking pot.
Fill pot half way with water. Cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 hours or until beans and meat are tender.
Add salt and pepper to desired taste.
Serve hot over cooked rice.
