Prune Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 (4 3/4 oz.) jar (1/2 c.) strained prunes (baby food)
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In mixer bowl, sift together first 8 ingredients.
    Add oil, 1/2 cup cold water, prunes, egg and vanilla.
    Blend and then beat 1 minute at medium speed of electric mixer.
    Turn batter into a greased and floured 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Sprinkle nuts atop batter.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Cool in pan.
