Chocolate Cake Using Cocoa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream first two ingredients and set aside.
    Cook next 3 ingredients and cool.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Mix well.
    Add eggs, etc.
    Pour
    into two 9-inch cake pans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
