Daddy'S Favorite Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 pt. oysters
    1 qt. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Melt butter. Add oysters (in their liquor) and cook 8 minutes or until edges curl. Add milk and seasonings and heat slowly to the boiling point, but do not boil.
    Pour into soup bowls and sprinkle with parsley. Serve at once with oyster crackers.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
