Delores' Winter Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 small jar pimento
    1 tsp. salt
    1 green pepper, minced
    onion to taste
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, sugar, oil, salt and pepper. Boil. Rinse kraut very well in colander in cold water.
    Drain well.
    Put in bowl.
    Pour over hot mixture. Add remaining and chill well.
