Frozen Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 (6 oz.) bottle liquid fruit pectin
    paraffin
Preparation
    Thaw frozen strawberries.
    Put through food mill or mush.
    Add sugar.
    Mix well.
    Let stand 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. When sugar has dissolved, add liquid fruit pectin.
    Stir 3 minutes.
    Ladle in hot sterilized jar or clean freezer container. Cover and let stand 24 hours or until set.
    Seal with paraffin. Store up to 6 weeks in refrigerator or 1 year in the freezer. Makes 4 1/2 pints.
