Refrigerator Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 carrot
    1 green pepper
    1 medium onion
    3 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Mix cabbage, carrot, green pepper and medium onion together after chopping and add salt.
    Let stand 15 minutes; drain well if needed.
    Add sugar and cider vinegar; pour over slaw and let stand 2 hours before serving.
    Store in quart jars.
    Lasts several weeks. Do not use plastic.
