Aunt Sam'S Memory Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, chopped fine

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift together flour, soda and salt and add.
Add pecans.
Shape into 2 (16-inch) rolls.
Wrap in wax paper.
Chill at least 4 hours.
