Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs, well beaten
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    8 oz. sour cream
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. rum, almond or lemon extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, baking powder and soda and add to mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in flavoring. Pour into greased and floured pans. Will take 3 loaf pans.
    Bake 45 minutes and then start checking to see if it is done. If you use a bundt pan, bake for 1 1/2 hours.
