Cajun Shrimp And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. small boiled shrimp
    1 stick smoked sausage, diced
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    3 Tbsp. Louisiana hot sauce
    1/4 c. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
    Cook all ingredients in a large saucepan for about 20 to 30 minutes over medium heat.
    Prepare approximately 12 ounces of rice according to package directions.
    (Cooking time is usually to minute.)
    When rice is cooked and drained, add about 2 tablespoons of margarine.
    Spoon rice onto plates and top with shrimp sauce. Served with a sprig of parsley, this dish makes an attractive main course for any meal.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
