Pat'S Cottage Cheese Rounds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. small curd cottage cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg yolk, beaten
Preparation
    Combine flour, butter, cottage cheese and salt.
    Shape into ball.
    Knead 10 times.
    Roll 1/2 inch thick.
    Cut into 2-inch rounds or roll into log shape about 2 inches in diameter.
    Chill and later slice 1/2 inch thick.
    Brush tops of rounds with beaten egg yolk.
    Bake on greased sheet at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.
