Donna'S Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine (do not substitute with vegetable oil)
    1 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    8 oz. stick Philadelphia cream cheese, softened to room temperature
    1 large Cool Whip
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
    chocolate chips (optional)
    1 to 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Crust:
    Melt butter/margarine in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Add flour and chopped pecans.
    Combine to form dough and pat into bottom of pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until brown.
    Remove and let cool.
