Layered Diablo Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 avocados, mashed with dash of salt and lemon juice
1 c. sour cream
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. finely diced tomatoes
1/4 c. green onion
1/8 tsp. hot sauce
1 (2 1/4 oz.) can black olive slices
Preparation

Ingredients are layered in circles on a large round plate or platter.
The size of each succeeding layer is gradually decreased, so as to build Mt. Diablo.
Form the bottom and largest circle with avocados.
Mix sour cream and taco seasoning; spread on avocados.
Layer both cheeses and pat down.
Next, tomatoes and black olives.
Top with onion.
Serves 12 or 14.
(Double recipe to feed moderate to large crowd.)
