Prune Crock - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. pitted prunes
    2 c. strong hot tea
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. wine vinegar
    12 to 15 whole cloves
    4 pieces stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Place prunes in a 2-quart glass jar.
    Stir sugar and tea together in a saucepan.
    Add remaining
    ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Pour over prunes and cover.
    Let stand for 24 hours.
