Mexican Crinkles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together.
    Shape into balls and roll in additional granulated sugar.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 350\u00b0.
    (If using all-purpose flour, add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon baking powder.)
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
