Chinese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can green peas (LeSueur)
    1 large can French-cut string beans
    1 small can sliced water chestnuts
    1 large can chop suey vegetables
    1 large onion, diced
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Drain all vegetables and mix with sugar.
    Put veggies in a large glass jar and pour vinegar over them.
    Seal and refrigerate.
