Moravian Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 carrots, shredded
    1 medium green pepper, chopped coarse
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix cabbage, onion, carrots and green pepper.
    Mix sugar, vinegar and celery seed; heat until sugar dissolves.
    Cool.
    Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Keeps 2 weeks in refrigerator.
