Stuffed Peppers Fiesta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium green peppers
    1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
    2 c. stewed tomatoes
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. grated cheese (Cheddar)
Preparation
    Remove stems and seed from peppers.
    Put peppers in cold water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Drain and set aside. In a bowl combine cereal and 1/2 cup tomatoes.
    Brown meat; add seasonings and mix well. Stir into cereal mixture.
    Fill each pepper with 1/2 cup meat mixture.
    Place in greased baking dish. Pour remaining tomatoes over peppers.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
