Rabbit With Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 rabbits, cleaned and cut up
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    salt
    pepper
    2 bay leaves
    flour
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Salt and pepper rabbit; cover with flour.
    Put in heavy skillet in the cooking oil.
    Sear on both sides.
    Place in stew pot.
    Cover with hot water.
    Add thyme and bay leaves.
    Cook until tender.
    Now add dumplings to stew pot.
    Cook until done.
