My Best Recipe Salad Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimento, drained and mashed
    1 c. minced celery
    dash of salt
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
    crisp greens
Preparation
    Drain pineapple.
    Heat syrup to a boil; add gelatin and stir until dissolved.
    Set aside to cool.
    Combine cream cheese, pineapple, pimento, celery and salt.
    Blend well.
    Fold into cooled gelatin.
    Whip cream until stiff and fold into gelatin. Turn mixture into a mold and chill.
    Unmold and serve on crisp greens.
    (Makes 6 to 8 servings.)
