Ingredients

1/2 lb. sugar
1/4 lb. butter, well creamed
8 egg yolks (save whites)
grated rind of 2 lemons
juice of 2 lemons
Preparation

Pour this mixture into rich crust of pastry.
After adding grated lemon rind, partially bake it.
Beat egg whites very stiff and add spoonful of sugar for each egg; then add lemon juice. Pour this meringue over the pudding and brown it quickly.
