Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. small squash, sliced thin
    2 c. onions, sliced
    4 green peppers
    small jar pimento
    1/4 c. salt
    3 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients and let stand 1 hour.
    Drain.
    Put seasonings in a cloth bag and bring to a hard boil with vinegar and sugar.
    Put squash mixture in and boil 3 minutes.
    Put in canning jars and seal properly.
    Makes 4 pints.
