Plum Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. lemon peels, grated
1/4 tsp. ground mace
1 egg beaten
2 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Cut butter into flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, lemon peel and mace until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Mix egg and water. Stir into flour mixture.
Gather pastry into a ball, kneed just until smooth.
Press evenly on bottom and side of ungreased round layer pan, 9 x 1 1/2 inch.
