Clams In Spicy Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
4 tomatoes, chopped
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. dry white wine
1/4 c. minced parsley
1/2 tsp. dried crushed chili peppers
freshly ground pepper
50 littleneck clams, scrubbed and cleaned
Preparation

In a large pot, saute the onion and garlic in oil until the onion is wilted.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, paprika, wine, parsley, chili peppers and pepper.
Cover and cook 10 minutes. Add clams.
Cover and cook until clams open.
Serve as an appetizer or over linguini as a main dish.
