Salisbury Steak With Peppers And Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
4 medium onions, sliced
3 green peppers, cut thin
1 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. flour
1 c. oatmeal or cracker crumbs
salt and pepper
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. catsup
1/2 tsp. soy sauce
1 egg
Preparation

In skillet over medium heat, melt butter and saute onions and peppers until tender, stirring.
Remove onion mixture to platter, draining oil in pan.
Mix hamburger meat, egg, oatmeal, flour, salt and pepper.
Form into patties.
Cook patties over medium-high heat in same skillet until done.
Place patties on platter with onion mixture.
Into skillet, stir flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
Cook 1 minute.
Add water, catsup and soy sauce; cook until mixture thickens and pour over patties.
