Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    3 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into greased 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 1-inch pan.
    Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0) for 30 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen.
