Cookies While You Sleep - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Beat
    eggs
    whites
    until foamy.
    Add salt and cream of tartar.
    Beat
    until
    stiff.
    Add
    sugar, two tablespoons at a time,
    beating
    after each addition. Stir in vanilla, nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls (bite size) on cookie sheet lined with foil.
    Place in oven preheated to 350\u00b0 and turn off immediately.
    Do
    not
    open
    oven
    door
    for at least 8 hours. Carefully remove cookies from foil.
    Makes 40 to 50 cookies.
