Family Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. finely grated carrots
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. finely grated onion
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients lightly, but well. Shape into a loaf.
    Put in a shallow baking pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Allow loaf to stand about 5 or 10 minutes before cutting.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
