Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 qt. sliced medium cukes
6 sliced medium onions
1 c. salt
6 c. vinegar
6 c. sugar
2 tsp. whole cloves
2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
-
Combine the cukes, onion and salt; let stand 3 hours in cold water.
Drain.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Let come to a boil.
Put into airtight sterilized jars.
