Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white rice
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. American cheese, grated
    1 c. ripe olives, cut finely
    1 c. mushrooms, cut finely
    1/2 c. onion, cut finely
    1 c. hot water
    1/2 c. salad oil
    salt and pepper to taste (salt is optional)
Preparation
    Mix all together and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour covered or until liquid is absorbed.
    Serve with steaks, roast beef or baked chicken.
