Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 can or jar Musselman's applesauce (about 1 lb.)
    1 c. precooked rice
    1/2 c. cut up onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    16 oz. can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Mix ground beef, applesauce, rice, onion, salt and pepper. Shape into 2-inch meatballs.
    Place l layer deep in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Pour tomato sauce over meatballs.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Makes 14 to 16 meatballs.
