Mushroom Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. packaged biscuit mix (Bisquick)
    1 c. chopped fresh mushroom
    2 Tbsp. sliced spring onions
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. celery salt
    1 beaten egg yolk
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1 egg white
    cooking oil (for deep fat frying)
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix, mushrooms, onion, pimento, salt and celery salt.
    Mix together egg yolk and sour cream, stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
    Beat egg white to stiff peaks.
    Gently fold beaten egg white into mushroom mixture.
    Heat oil and drop by tablespoons into hot oil.
    Fry about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
    This only makes 12 fritters each.
