Ingredients
    8 oz. elbow macaroni
    4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. half and half
    1/4 c. dry unseasoned bread crumbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to

    2 quart casserole or baking dish.
    Cook
    the macaroni in boiling salted water until tender, 8 to 10
    minutes.
    Drain
    well
    and toss with 3 tablespoons of the butter.
