Clams Gourmet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
3 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chopped clams, drained
2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
2 Tbsp. chopped chives
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
dash of ground red pepper
dash of freshly ground black pepper
1 loaf cocktail size pumpernickel bread
Preparation

Combine cheese, clams, parsley, chives, garlic and peppers. Mix until well blended.
Spread mixture on slices of bread.
Place on broiler or cookie sheet.
Broil until golden brown and bubbly, about 5 to 10 minutes.
Serve immediately.
Makes 25 to 30 slices. Preparation time:
10 minutes.
Cooking time:
5 to 10 minutes.
