Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sweet or hot sausage
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. fennel seed
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 qt. canned tomatoes
2 cans tomato paste
1/2 c. water
12 lasagna noodles
1 Tbsp. salt
1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Combine Ricotta cheese, egg, remaining parsley and salt.
In bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, spoon 1 1/2 cups sauce.
Layer with noodles.
Spread with 1/2 Ricotta mixture.
Top with 1/3 Mozzarella cheese.
Spoon sauce over cheese.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Repeat layering.
Cover with foil.
Bake 25 minutes.
Remove foil.
Bake 25 minutes longer.
