1, 2, 3, 4 Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. sifted sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla and lemon extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. mace
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, adding eggs one at a time.
    Add sifted flour, soda and salt alternately with milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Bake in tube pan for 1 hour or more at 325\u00b0.
