Chocolate Chip Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 large eggs
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. low-fat milk mixed with 1 tsp. vinegar or 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. All Bran cereal
    1 c. hot water
    1/3 c. honey
    1/4 c. oil (preferably safflower or canola)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg or 2 egg whites, beaten
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. flour (half whole wheat and half white)
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    2 Tbsp. poppy or sunflower seeds (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0.
    Line muffin tins with paper baking cups or use nonstick muffin pans.
    Make buttermilk by mixing the milk and vinegar.
    Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
    Combine the bran cereal, hot water, honey, oil, salt and egg.
    Let stand for 1 or 2 minutes.
