Ingredients

3 c. brown sugar
6 c. rolled oats
3 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking soda
3 c. butter or margarine, softened
Preparation

Place all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add the softened butter or margarine.
Beat or squeeze ingredients together.
Roll dough between hands into small balls.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Rub butter on the bottom of a glass and dip it in granulated sugar.
Flatten balls of dough with glass bottom.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
