Deluxe Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Duncan Hines Deluxe II yellow cake mix
    1 medium size can crushed pineapple (unsweetened)
    1 c. sugar
    1 large pkg. vanilla pudding mix
    1 medium size container Cool Whip
    1 pkg. frozen coconut
Preparation
    Bake cake in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan as directed on box.
    Mix pineapple with sugar; bring to boil.
    Pour over cake.
    Cook vanilla pudding according to directions on box; pour over cake and let cool.
    Spread Cool Whip on cake; top with frozen coconut.
    You can add crushed nuts, if desired.
