Vegetable Beef Soup(Makes As Much As You Need) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    quick beef stock (from condensed beef broth and water)
    1 or 2 lb. can whole tomatoes
    3 or more stalks celery and leaves
    2 to 20 carrots, sliced
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/3 to 1 c. barley, soak it first
    stew beef (very chilled, slightly frozen is good)
    1 to 2 Tbsp. oil
    1 onion (large or small)
    1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. salt
    some pepper
    1 pkg. frozen or 2 cans mixed vegetables
    1 to 3 loaves frozen bread dough (unless you either have a good bakery nearby or a few hours!)
    butter or margarine (whatever!)
Preparation
    If you agree on ingredients, you may add: fresh mushrooms, red or green peppers or other vegetables that are available.
    If there are enough fresh veggies around, you can eliminate the frozen or canned ones, but the cooking times have to be thought about.
